EVENINGS OUT
If it’s just a pint you are after, The Bridge Inn, two miles up the road at Penton, is the real “local”. Clint, the publican, has a fairly relaxed attitude to life and doesn’t open till 7pm. Nice evening atmosphere, but no meals. Guest real ales on tap.
Local entertainment revolves around Nicholforest Village Hall, 4 miles up the road. Various evening entertainment is put on, though less so in the summer. Cheap Beer !
